Germantown, WI, January 25, 2016 – J.W. Speaker Corporation (JWS) has announced a new business arrangement with Great American, Inc. to establish Great American as its distribution partner for the heavy-duty aftermarket, covering the Southeast in the U.S. Also known by its trademark logo, “The Load”, Great American is committed to trucking and the heavy-duty industry. Great American is also a member the well-regarded buying group, HDA Truck Pride.
Established in 1980 and located in Lithia Springs, Georgia (near Atlanta), Great American is focused on providing high-quality and competitively priced heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, as well as pick-up and medium-duty trucks. Customers include truck fleets, independent repair shops, automotive jobbers, loggers, farmers, mining operations, construction companies, school bus fleets, municipalities, manufacturing plants and owner-operators.
In addition to its modern warehouse in Lithia Springs, Great American also maintains a distribution warehouse and retail parts store in East Dublin, Georgia that was built within the past year.

Great American will focus on the heavy-duty aftermarket for JWS, aka the “Transport” market, covering ongoing service and replacement part needs, as well as dealers and small OEMs who will be assigned or routed to a J.W. Speaker partner. The J.W. Speaker LED lighting line shall be reinforced as the premium offering in Great American’s “good-better-best”, go-to-market strategy.
