1st Priority:
- Maintain supermarkets (5S & inventory accuracy)
- Perform cycle counts and location audits
- Move parts from supply area to supermarket
- Pull, stage, and deliver parts to line (10+ job orders daily)
- Move finished goods from line to shipping
- Execute visual signals and perform appropriate transactions
- Follow standard work
2nd Priority:
- Validate system counts, retrieve materials for NPD, ECN & Excess & obsolete
- Expedite parts through system to address part shortages & customer opportunities
3rd Priority:
- Surface & solve problems utilizing the problem consciousness board
- Follow 5S standards everywhere
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a material handling role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic excel skills
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to multi-task
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, independently & on a team
- A strong understanding/continuing education in lean manufacturing, problem solving and process improvement
- Post high school education a plus
- Previous cycle counting experience a plus
