ABOUT THE POSITION:
This is a rare opportunity at our company for an Administrative Assistant. This is a new position, due to growth, and will be primarily supporting our Maintenance Department and Tool Room. This position is located in an office area on the production floor, so you will be “in the mix” embedded with the team you support.
This position, supporting some of our technical areas, will require the assistant to learn about different technical processes within maintenance and our tool room. (You wouldn’t be performing the process, but would need to understand the basics to properly document it, run reports, etc..)
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Our ideal candidate will start off with 3-5 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing admin experience a definite plus!) You will have an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint. ERP experience is also a plus! You must be self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision, surfacing problems and challenges when they arise.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
You will INNOVATE and PERFORM:
- By partnering with the Maintenance and Tool Room leaders to complete varied scheduled tasks and projects, including data entry, generating maintenance work orders, work requests and reports using eMaint software
- By collaborating closely with Factory Zone leaders to schedule preventative maintenance
- By distributing internal work requests to appropriate maintenance and tool room technicians
- By closing completed work orders and work requests
- By maintaining paper and electronic files, equipment manual library, along with parts and supplies inventory
- By providing support with answering our multi-line phone system in a timely, friendly, proficient manner
- By managing our visitors per our corporate visitor policy
- By helping to maintain public lobby areas and conference rooms in a neat, orderly condition

- 3-5 years: Administrative support
