Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Assembly of lights using blueprints and work orders
  • Perform daily and weekly 5s procedures
  • Set up and operation of various machines including:
  • Potting machines
  • Sonic welder
  • Multi-voltage testers
  • Rivet machine
  • Drill press
  • Shrink tubing
  • Micrometers
  • Air presses
  • Pneumatic drivers and crimpers

Qualified Candidates Must Possess:

  • A minimum of 6 months of manufacturing/assembly experience
  • A high school diploma
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision

Advanced Quality Engineer

New position in our growing Quality team!

The AQE will directly support our New Product Development (NPD) and Sourcing teams, and is the subject matter expert for quality-related aspects of Advanced Quality Planning and Supplier Development. The AQE is responsible for assuring all quality-related deliverables are met for new and enhanced product development through all NPD phases and final PPAP approval. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

Duties will be varied but will consist of the following:

Support the NPD process and collaborate with a cross-functional team to provide assistance and input for:

  • Design reviews of new and/or enhanced products
  • Identification of critical to quality (CTQ) characteristics on both customer and supplier documents
  • Development of DFMEA documents for new and/or revised products
  • Development of Process fFlow Diagrams and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) documents for new and/or revised products
  • Development of Process Control Plans to ensure robust process/product controls are in place for mitigating risk through the launch phases and that lessons learned, customer rejections, and warranty concerns are captured in these documents
  • Reviews GD&T and gauging methodologies for new and/or enhanced products
  • Development of an appropriate Measurement System Analysis (MSA) plan for products. Identify appropriate statistical tools and techniques required for assessing process capability and verify all measuring devices are included on the Control Plan
  • Ensuring initial capability studies are properly performed and documented for initial builds and product changes affecting special characteristics, and that the customer and internal requirements are met
  • Ensure that NPD-related customer, internal and supplier quality corrective actions (8D;s) meet the required timing, quality and format
  • Preparation and on-time delivery of customer production part approval process (PPAP) packages
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers resulting in excellent customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable quality customer-specific systems and requirements
  • Ensure IMDS, REACH, RoHS, Toxicity, and Conflict Mineral compliance, where applicable

Support Sourcing to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the process of Supplier-related activities, including:

  • Assessment and selection
  • Process and product validation
  • PPAPs
  • Corrective Action Requests (SCARs)
  • Development and continuous improvement

Desired skills and experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Quality, Engineering, or Science related field with 10+ years of related work experience
  • Experience with ISO/QS/TS Quality Systems is required
  • Experience with APQP, including proficiency with AIAG Core Tools
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts, design of experiments and problem solving methodology is required. Green or Black Belt certification and experience with Minitab software is highly desireable.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is highly desirable
  • Good mechanical/technical skills and ability to read engineering drawings are desirable. GD&T proficiency is highly desirable.
  • ASQ certification as a CQE is highly desirable.

This position reports to our Marketing Manager, and will be a key player in our Standard division, where we make and sell our products to the aftermarket, distribution and catalog industries. Our products have always been on the cutting edge of technology, and this position will help us remain on the forefront, leaving our competition behind! Duties for this role are varied, challenging, and will contain the following:

Web Content Development and SEO

  • Be a strategic partner with internal/external stakeholders to gather info regarding products and initiatives
  • Develop and manage Electronic Marketing content, including emails, videos, landing pages, product pages, blog posts, and eNewsletters
  • Manage title tags, H-tags, and other meta data to optimize search engine results
  • Generate and analyze SEO metrics; plan and implement tactics to improve rankings

Electronic Marketing Campaigns

  • Proactively develop campaigns for upcoming product launches and key sales initiatives
  • Develop and manage Electronic Marketing calendar activities
  • Online campaigns (email, SEO, PPC, and social media)
  • Recommend and execute testing tactics
  • Set up and utilize web analytics to track, measure, and provide reports on campaign performance

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related discipline
  • 3-5 years+ in an electronic marketing role
  • 3-5 years+ of applied professional SEO, PPC, content marketing and web analytics experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in writing for the web
  • Mastery of A/B testing, meta data tagging, and dynamic content
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
